Wimbledon Championship Venues

Wimbledon Championship is UK best tennis tournament held every year. Since 2001 the courts used for Wimbledon have been sown with 100% recurrent ryegrass.
Before 2001 amalgamation of 70% ryegrass and 30% Creeping Red Fescue was used for the tournament. The modification was made to recover stability and make stronger the sward to better endure the increasing wear of the up to date games. The main venue for championships are Centre Court and No. 1 Court are normally used only for two weeks a year during the World Cup, but did not extend into a third week in exceptional circumstances.
The remaining 17 seats will be other events hosted by the club. Show courts in action for the second time in three months, as well as the 2012 Wimbledon tennis events held at the Olympic Games 2012th One of the show courts is also used in the home matches of the GB teams in the Davis Cup on occasions. Wimbledon is the only Grand Slam event played on grass courts.
Used in all specialities except the French Open played on grass. The U.S. Open abandoned grass and the 1975 Australian Open-1988 in Centre Court was the main dish, which was opened in 1922, when the club moved from Worple Road Church road. Church Road was the place, bigger, and you need to meet the ever-increasing public demand. Wimbledon Tickets are available for 2013 Championship at Sport Ticket Exchange.
